Personal Account - Osobní účet
Ideální pro online nakupování, posílání a přijímání plateb přes zabezpečenou síť PayPal. Na tento typ účtu nemůžete přijímat platby provedené debetní nebo kreditní platební kartou.
Platební operace jsou bez poplatků, kromě operací kdy se převádí měny. Zde je poplatek 2,5 %.
Premier Account - Zbýhodněný účet
Účet vhodný pro nakupování a prodávání na eBay. Platby za zboží a služby v eschopech. Na tento typ účtu můžete přijímat všechny platby, je tu ale již menší poplatek.

Business Account - Obchodní účet
Správná volba pro vaše online obchodování, akceptuje kreditní karty, debetní karty a platby z bankovních účtů. Povoluje přístup více uživatelů.

PayPal umožňuje členům mít jeden Personal a jeden Premier nebo Business účet, ale každý PayPal musí být založen na unikátní e-mail adresu.
